Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of payZeep by Paymi Solutions, Ayo Ayodele Adeluka, has been honoured with the Most Outstanding Icon & Tech Expert of the Year 2025 award at the National Leadership Meritorious Award of Excellence Performance, held in Abuja.

The award, presented by The New Nigeria Television Channels and TNNNEWS Magazine, recognised Adeluka’s role in advancing Nigeria’s fintech sector through innovative payment solutions that promote financial inclusion, the fintech said in a statement on Tuesday.

Speaking during the ceremony, Chairman and Chief Executive of TNNTV Channels and Publisher of TNNNEWS Magazine, Dr. Seun Akinde, described Adeluka as a trailblazer whose work demonstrates the transformative potential of technology.

“Today, we are not merely conferring an award; we are affirming that resilience, creativity, and impact are never ignored.

Mr Adeluka embodies the bold spirit of innovation and has redefined the digital financial space through payZeep, proving that Nigeria can lead Africa into a new age of fintech solutions,” Akinde remarked.

Adeluka, who received the award in the presence of industry leaders and policymakers, dedicated the recognition to his team, partners, and customers.

“This honour belongs to every merchant, every agent, and every Nigerian who believes in payZeep’s mission. We will continue to innovate and deliver solutions that make life easier for businesses and individuals, while keeping Nigeria at the forefront of Africa’s fintech,” he said.

Under Adeluka’s leadership, payZeep has expanded access to digital financial services across the country through offerings such as agency banking, payment processing, and payment terminal services. The company’s platform has become a vital tool for small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals seeking secure, affordable, and seamless financial transactions.

The recognition further cements payZeep’s standing as a challenger brand in Nigeria’s fintech ecosystem, positioning itself as a driver of innovation, trust, and accessibility.
