Rising government expenditure on housing and infrastructure is spurring growth in Nigeria’s $108bn construction industry, with the Big 5 exhibition spotlighting investment opportunities in the construction sector.
In a statement, it was noted that Big 5 Construct Nigeria will run in Lagos from September 23 to 25, supporting the country’s $108 bn construction market.
It stated, “More than 145 exhibitors from over 20 countries will showcase solutions spanning building materials, digital construction, solar, windows, doors & façades, HVAC-R and more. Big 5 Talks will feature over 25 free CPD-certified sessions, covering themes including sustainability, project management, architecture and beyond.
“Big 5 Construct Nigeria, the country’s largest event for construction professionals, returns to Landmark Centre, Lagos, from September 23 to 25, 2025. The Senior Vice President of Construction at dmg events, Josine Heijmans, stated that Nigeria’s construction market was projected to reach over $108 bn in 2025.
“Reflecting the scale of opportunity for both local and international stakeholders, Big 5 Construct Nigeria 2025 builds on this growth, aligning closely with the country’s development and infrastructure master plan and housing objectives.
“By convening leading suppliers, regional players and decision-makers under one roof, the event creates a space where business opportunities meet national priorities. The statement revealed that more than 20 countries will be represented at Big 5 Construct Nigeria, including Germany, India, Italy, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United States, alongside dedicated national pavilions from Egypt, Türkiye, China and Austria, giving visitors access to a wide range of solutions and expertise. First-time exhibitors include Sany Equipment, specialising in heavy machinery; Daikin, with its market-leading HVAC solutions; Legrand Electric, a leader in high-end MEP systems; and Stanley Black & Decker, a world-renowned tools and PPE solutions provider.
