Faith Considers Voluntary Exit, Labels Show ‘Waste Of Time’

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith, has revealed that he was seriously considering a voluntary exit from the reality show, describing his participation as “a waste of time.”

The medical doctor stated this on Friday during a candid conversation with fellow housemate, Joanna, in the garden.

“I am here because someone fing told me to sign up for this sht,” Faith snapped when Joanna asked why he was on the show. Clearly exasperated, he added, “I want to fing leave. This is a waste of my time. What am I doing here?”

Joanna, unfazed, simply responded, “Alright.” But Faith pressed on, saying, “I know you don’t believe me, but I’m seriously considering it.”

According to him, his doubts stemmed from research he carried out on the show’s long-term impact on housemates’ careers.

“I read about this show, the average time you need to spend on the show to actually make a career is five and a half weeks,” he explained.

Having already spent five weeks in the house, Faith said he may have already reached that threshold.

His concerns have also been heightened by his recent nomination for eviction. However, in a twist of fate, Head of House Rooboy drew a note that nullified all nominations this week, granting Faith and other nominated housemates a temporary reprieve.

Despite the lifeline, Faith maintained that he was weighing his options. “Honestly, I’m thinking about it seriously,” he admitted.

This has sparked widespread debate among fans online, with some arguing that quitting early could be a strategic move, while others see it as a missed opportunity.

Housemates are allowed to voluntarily exit at any point of the show under BBNaija rules. For now, however, the spotlight remains on Faith as viewers wait to see if his frustration will push him out of the house, or if he will endure the pressure for a chance at a career boost.
