Rising Star RNZO Announces Debut Single ‘Temilade’

Fast-rising music star RNZO has announced his debut single “Temilade” as he prepares to make his mark in Nigeria’s dynamic music industry.

RNZO’s newest offering is poised to capture the hearts and minds of listeners and streamers in the music landscape with fresh perspectives.

The 20-year-old singer and songwriter, whose real name is Chimezie Chukwuma Winston, blends the warmth of Afro-R&B with heartfelt lyricism, even as his debuted single “Temilade” is set to drop on August 18, 2025, marking RNZO’s official entry into the mainstream music landscape.

Born and raised in Imo State, RNZO’s journey began with a spark of inspiration after hearing Don Jazzy’s classic “Adaobi.” That moment ignited a passion that saw him join his school choir in JSS 1, where he began honing his craft.

Influenced by Nigerian heavyweights such as Davido, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and Burna Boy, RNZO has since evolved into an artist with a distinct voice, drawing from both his personal experiences and musical icons like Davido, Tems, and Burna Boy.

Commenting on the debut single, RNZO said ‘Temilade’ was more than just a love song, it’s a vivid emotional portrait with lush melodies and soulful delivery.

RNZO painted his muse as “sunshine in the eyes” and “roses from afar,” capturing the serenity and fire that love brings.

He added that the track blends smooth, romantic verses with an Afrobeat rhythm that keeps it fresh, vibrant, and undeniably replay worthy.

“This song is about that rare person who changes everything. The one who makes life feel lighter and brighter, even in your darkest days. ‘Temilade’ is my way of celebrating that kind of love,” said RNZO.

RNZO brings not just a song, but a promise to craft music that resonates deeply and stands the test of time. With his debut single, the young artist is poised to capture the ears and hearts of listeners both at home and abroad.
