Dede Dumps ‘First Fish’ Kola, Says ‘I Be Vegetarian Now’

Big Brother Naija housemate, Dede has stirred reactions online after making a subtle but revealing comment about her past in-house entanglement with Kola while discussing her new romantic interests with fellow housemate, Mide.

In a light-hearted conversation, Mide teased Dede about her shifting affections, asking her whether she had moved on from her “first fish,” a term often used by housemates to describe their initial love interests in the house.

Kola was Dede’s first crush in the house, however, when Jason Jae became Head of House, there seemed to be a sort of situation between them which didn’t go down well with Kola who is now doing everything possible to avoid her.

“Na just personality-wise na him make am be like say e don dey step up,” she added, indicating that her new connection was based more on emotional compatibility than just physical attraction.

Noticing the shift, Mide playfully asked, “What of your first fish? You don throwaway that one? Omo, that fish really stress you o.”

To which Dede replied with a laugh: “Ah, omo, I be vegetarian now o.”

Her declaration of being a “vegetarian” is being seen as symbolic — a humorous way of distancing herself from any romantic drama or former love interest in the house.

The exchange adds another layer to the evolving dynamics in the BBNaija 10/10 house, where alliances shift quickly and relationships are constantly under the spotlight as they hustle for the N150 million grand prize.
