Honda Unveils New Wave 110s Motorcycle in Nigeria


Honda Manufacturing (Nigeria) Limited has unveiled its latest motorcycle model, the Wave 110s, reaffirming its commitment to delivering affordable and efficient mobility solutions tailored for Nigerian riders.

Unveiled at the company’s facility in Ogun State, the new Wave 110s is designed with the everyday commuter in mind. It features a sleek, sporty design, a trusted Honda engine, and durability suited for Nigeria’s road conditions.

In a statement on Tuesday, General Manager, motorcycle business unit, sales division, Honda Motors, Komine Tetsuya, described the Wave 110s as more than just a motorcycle.

“The Wave 110s isn’t just a motorcycle; it’s a dependable partner for work, family, and daily life,” he said.

Managing Director of Honda Manufacturing (Nigeria) Limited, Tetsuya Kawai, said the model offers a blend of comfort, fuel efficiency, and superior handling, making it ideal for riders seeking a stylish yet easy-to-maintain option.

“We understand that many customers need a motorcycle for private use, something stylish, simple to maintain, and easy to ride. The Wave 110s answers that need,” he said. “It comes with a clean and sporty design, hand-start function, under-seat storage, and gives you a smooth riding experience.”

The launch also coincides with Honda’s celebration of a global production milestone, surpassing 500 million motorcycles manufactured worldwide.

“This launch also marks another major step in Honda’s mission to support mobility, economic empowerment, and rider confidence across Nigeria,” Komine added. The Wave 110s is now available at all authorised Honda dealerships across the country.
