SEC DG to Deliver Keynote at Comercio Economic Outlook


Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Dr. Emomotimi Agama, will lead discussions at the Comercio Partners’ Half-Year Economic Review and Outlook.

According to Comercio Partners, Agama will deliver a keynote address on the theme, ‘Reconfiguration: From Global Trade to Quantum Innovation, a New Economic Era Emerges.’

The event, which is scheduled to be held next Wednesday in Lagos, will also feature two panel sessions and the formal presentation of the Comercio Partners Review of the Economy in H1’25 and Outlook for H2’25.

Speakers for the first panel session centred on Nigeria’s Economic Frontlines, include the President of the Nigerian Association of Macroeconomic Modellers, Prof. Philip Alege and others.

 award-winning film producer and Managing Director/CEO of J-15 Media Network, Mr. Femi Adebayo; and Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise, Dr. Muda Yusuf.

Speakers for the second panel session hinged on the Global Macroeconomic Environment, are Chief Economist, Development Bank of Nigeria Plc; Prof. Joseph Nnanna, Economist, Nigerian Economic Summit Group; Dr. Faith Iyoha, Chief Executive Officer, Comercio Partners Asset Management; Mr. Tosin Osunkoya, Chief Executive Officer, Graeme Blaque; and Mr. Zeal Akaraiwe.
