Africa Energy: EnergyInc De-risks Projects

EnergyInc Advisors, a strategic advisory firm focused on Africa, has officially launched to support oil, gas, and energy transition projects on the continent.

The firm offers consultancy services aimed at unlocking growth capital and shaping investments in energy, infrastructure, and climate-aligned sectors across Africa.

Founded by an energy expert, Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani, the firm draws on nearly two decades of executive experience in capital deployment and investment advisory.

At a press briefing in Lagos, Akinkugbe-Filani said, “Africa is at a pivotal moment. The continent holds immense opportunity, but unlocking its potential requires the right capital, partners, and positioning. EnergyInc Advisors was created to bridge that gap—with local intelligence, international reach, and a commitment to delivering results.”

According to her, EnergyInc Advisors provides services including strategic advisory, capital raising, transaction structuring, investor engagement, and market positioning.

The firm, she said, works across energy, infrastructure, financial services, and climate to align client ambitions with market realities and investor mandates.

“At EnergyInc Advisors, we’re architecting solutions that de-risk complexity and channel capital to where it is needed most. We see ourselves as partners in Africa’s growth story, helping clients navigate evolving markets while aligning with global investment trends,” Akinkugbe-Filani added.

She highlighted the company’s strength in integrated capital advisory, de-risking of regulatory and financial barriers, and access to a global network of investors, including DFIs, banks, institutional investors, and fund managers.

“EnergyInc Advisors also offers strategic messaging to attract funding and turn complex projects into bankable deals through stakeholder alignment and investor readiness,” she stressed.
