The fourth Stakeholders Conference of the Association of Corporate & Marketing Communications Professionals in Banks in Nigeria is set to focus on the potential of artificial intelligence to drive financial inclusion.
According to a statement from the association on Tuesday, the conference is scheduled to be held on July 10.
This year’s conference, themed ‘AI & the Future of Trust: Reimagining Banking and Financial Services in a Digital-First Era,’ is convening amid a global shift toward artificial intelligence and its profound impact on trust, transparency, and customer engagement in financial services.
ACAMB President Rasheed Bolarinwa emphasised the significance of this year’s conference in light of evolving technological and regulatory demands.
He said, “As AI revolutionises banking, the question is not just about adoption; it is about how we harness it to rebuild trust in an increasingly sceptical digital landscape.
This conference is a clarion call for collaboration. We must ensure that AI serves as a bridge, not a barrier, to financial inclusion and integrity. Together, we will redefine what it means to be a trusted financial institution in 2025 and beyond.
The keynote speaker is Mr. Niyi Yusuf, managing partner at Verraki Africa and chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, who will deliver the address for the day. His insights will set the tone for a day of critical conversations on balancing innovation with accountability in a rapidly digitising economy.
The conference will also feature a robust lineup of expert panellists, including General Manager of Business Banking & Partnerships at VFD Microfinance Bank, Yonodu Okeugo; Chief Information Security Officer at First Bank Nigeria, Dr. Harrison Nnaji; and Chief Digital Officer at Polaris Bank, Dele Adeyinka.
