What Inspired Me To Go Into Music – Only1Bennie


Fast rising music star, Isah Benjamin Ochoyo, popularly known as Only1Bennie , has opened up about the inspirations behind his decision to pursue a career in music.

With his unique blend of Afrobeats and contemporary sounds, Only1Bennie has been making waves in the industry, and his story is one of passion, perseverance, and dedication.

In an interview with LEADERSHIP Sunday, Only1Bennie, credits his love for music to the joy it brings and how it unites people.

“Growing up, I saw how music could bring people together, light up joy, and heal hearts. It inspired me to pursue it, to create and share that same sense of peace and humanity with others. My love for music started from a younger age while with my grandma in the village.” He said

Speaking further, the Plant Science and Biotechnology graduate from Federal University Dutsinma,names Wizkid and Davido as his biggest musical influences, while describing his genre of music as Afro4us.

Only1Bennie has released two songs and is currently working on a new song.

Looking ahead, Only1Bennie is focused on expanding his musical horizons and exploring new sounds.

While giving his advice to upcoming artistes, he said, “Stay focused at your highest peak. Nobody will believe you if you don’t believe yourself.”

With his infectious energy and undeniable talent, Only1Bennie is set to make a lasting impact on the music industry. His story serves as a reminder that with hard work, determination, and a passion for one’s craft, success is within reach.
