Geely Nigeria: N1bn After-Sales Workshop Unveiled

Coscharis Motors Plc, the exclusive representative of the Geely automotive brand in Nigeria, has launched an after-sales workshop valued at over N1bn.

The new facility, aimed at enhancing the ownership experience for Geely customers, was unveiled during a press briefing and facility tour on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, Executive Director of After Sales and Special Duties, Cosmos Maduka Jr. emphasised Coscharis’ commitment to hassle-free vehicle maintenance and quality service delivery.

“Our desire has always been to ensure hassle-free maintenance for our customers. This after-sales workshop is a direct response to that goal,” Maduka said.

He revealed that over 3,000 Geely vehicles are currently on Nigerian roads and expressed optimism that the new investment would significantly boost sales.

He said, “On sales, we are the after-sales team, not the marketing arm, so we may not have exact figures. But permit me to say we have over 3,000 Geely vehicles on the road. With this latest partnership and the addition of an after-sales experience, this number should more than double.”

Maduka explained that the N1bn investment covers a wide range of resources, including spare parts, technical tools and infrastructure.

“The investment amount, which includes the spare parts, tools, and all others, is in excess of N1bn. Of course, the building is also part of the amount.

It is a large investment, but one we believe will pay off in the long run,” he added.

According to Maduka, the workshop is fully equipped to international standards, staffed by brand-certified technicians, and stocked with genuine spare parts.

According to him, the goal is to deliver quality products and services that offer real value while also contributing to technological advancement in society.

He said, “We have launched a dedicated Geely workshop, equipped to global standards, staffed by brand-trained technicians, and supported with genuine spare parts and best-in-class diagnostics. It is built to serve efficiently, professionally, and promptly.

Maduka added, “Our mission puts the customer at the heart of everything. We are here to ensure that every Geely customer gets more than a product; they get experience, support, and value for their money.”

Maduka also praised Geely as a forward-thinking automotive brand aligned with Coscharis’ vision for innovation and social impact.

“We align with Geely’s future-forward vision and our own goal of driving societal development through technological innovation. Geely is not just a car brand. It is a global symbol of progress built on precision engineering, advanced technology, and customer-focused design.”

Reacting, the Country Manager, Middle East/Africa Business Unit, Geely Auto International Corporation, Paladin Yao, expressed his delight at the pact with Coscharis, adding that the company is also giving a six-year and 200-kilometre warranty.

“We are happy. Our vehicle also comes with a six-year warranty or 200,000 kilometres.”
