NBC’s Academy Forges Future Leaders

The Nigerian Bottling Company has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment and industrial leadership with the release of a new documentary showcasing its renowned Supply Chain Academy.

Titled “Powering Potential: Inside NBC’s Supply Chain Academy,” the documentary highlights the institution’s transformation into a hub for developing the next generation of leaders in Nigeria’s manufacturing and supply chain sectors.

The documentary features testimonials from graduates, trainers, and senior leaders who share how the academy has shaped careers, uplifted families, and contributed to national development.

According to the People & Culture Director at NBC, Jolomi Fawehinmi, the academy’s curriculum is designed to equip trainees with both technical and leadership skills.

The training programme includes a blend of immersive classroom instruction and hands-on experience, with new intakes undergoing onboarding programmes, practical sessions on mini production lines, and training in simulated environments.

The academy also provides access to on-site facilities such as a clinic, a canteen, a library, and a digital learning lab.

The Supply Chain Capability Development Manager at NBC, Idehen Misan Ilesanmi, emphasised that the company’s goal is to develop trainees to meet global leadership and technical standards.

Trainees have praised the initiative, with Qadri Oluwatobiloba expressing gratitude for the invaluable experience gained, and Blessing Eze noting that the program provides a seamless transition from training to full-time employment.

The documentary is now available on NBC’s official YouTube channel and website and will be screened at select industry events and tertiary institutions nationwide.

Since its inception in 1996, the NBC Supply Chain Academy has made significant strides in developing a highly skilled and adaptable workforce, with alumni contributing meaningfully across various departments.
