NIWA MD Wins Icon of Diligence Award


The Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, has bagged the “Icon of Diligence in Service Award” organised by Exposure Media.

Disclosing this in a statement on Wednesday, the organisers announced that the award was presented during the 2025 Annual Lecture and Award presentation of Exposure Media held in Abuja.

In his acceptance speech, Oyebamiji, who was represented at the event by the General Manager, Special Duties at NIWA, Mohammed Dangana, said, “I would like to express my sincere thanks to Exposure Magazine for the recognition.  It is a testament, not just to my work, but to the support and encouragement I have received along the way. This reflects our collective efforts and shared commitment to excellence. Every achievement we have celebrated has been a result of our collaboration, hard work, and unwavering spirit. “

Oyebamiji extended his appreciation to his mentors and leaders for their guidance through the journey of life.

In his welcome speech, the publisher of Exposure Media, Mr Olayemi Gabriel, said the recognition of the awardees is not limited to their personal achievements but also positively impacted their communities, inspired and strived to make our beloved nation a better place.
