Lagos State has forged a strategic partnership with Marketing Analytics Africa to host the 2025 African Marketing Technology & E-commerce Conference, a landmark event designed to foster collaboration among leading brands, marketers, and investors across the continent.

Themed ‘Marketing in the New Economy: Data-Driven Success in Challenging Times’, the conference is scheduled to take place on May 24, 2025, at the Landmark Events & Conference Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

It is set to serve as a premier platform where industry thought leaders will convene to share insights on cutting-edge marketing innovations, data intelligence, and the evolving landscape of e-commerce.

In a press release on Tuesday, the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund reiterated its dedication to creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurs and generating meaningful employment opportunities for Lagos residents.

The Fund described its collaboration with MAA as a pivotal initiative aimed at positioning Lagos as a continental hub for marketing technology and digital commerce.

Co-founder and CEO of Marketing Analytics Africa, Victor Ojeakhena, emphasised that AMTEC is an annual event that brings together thought leaders, executives, and data strategists to explore cutting-edge trends and technologies shaping Africa’s marketing landscape.

He explained that the conference is designed to empower brands with digital strategies, foster sustainable partnerships, and accelerate scalable growth despite economic uncertainties.

The event has already attracted high-profile speakers and partners, including representatives from Colgate, Sterling Bank, First Bank, DStv Nigeria, Indomie, and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria.

Industry experts such as the Chief Executive of ARCON, Dr Olalekan Fadolapo, and the Chief Marketing Officer at Sterling Bank, Maurice Igugu, are expected to share their expertise on emerging marketing regulations and customer experience optimisation.

Organisers highlighted that AMTEC 2025 will not only showcase the role of data and emerging technologies in driving business success but also serve as a networking platform for professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors to collaborate on innovative solutions that can transform Africa’s digital economy.
