Termii has been ranked number one in media/telecommunications and number 10 overall on the Financial Times list of Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies in 2025.

According to a statement on Thursday, Termii’s recognition reflects its leadership in powering secure customer messaging, identity verification, and cross-border SIM connectivity for African and global businesses.

“Founded in Nigeria and now active in Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Ghana, and the United States, Termii delivers over two billion secure interactions annually through SMS, email, voice, and WhatsApp-enabling 16,000+ businesses to engage customers and scale communication globally,” the statement read in part.

The Chief Executive Officer of Termii, Emmanuel Gbolade, said, “This isn’t just a milestone for us, it is proof that Africa is capable of building the infrastructure the world needs- fast, secure, and built for scale.”

Gbolade explained that Termil’s growth is anchored by its expansion into telecom infrastructure through services like Sotel (eSIM+ global SIM) and Termii Agent, an AI-powered support platform.

“The company plans further expansion across Francophone Africa and other emerging markets over the next year,” he added.

The annual FT ranking, compiled in partnership with Statista, highlighted companies across the continent demonstrating exceptional revenue growth, scalability, and regional impact.
