Firms collaborate on cybersecurity in Nigeria, others

In a move to enhance cybersecurity across West Africa, CyberDome, the region’s leading security services provider, has announced a partnership with Cato Networks, a cybersecurity giant.

In a statement on Tuesday, this collaboration aims to revolutionise how businesses and institutions in the region approach digital security.

By integrating Cato Networks’ cutting-edge Secure Access Service Edge technology with CyberDome’s 24/7 Security Operations Centre, the partnership offers a cloud-native solution that combines networking and security in one platform, which provides real-time protection for users, branches, and cloud applications, regardless of their location.

According to the statement, the timing of the collaboration is crucial as many West African businesses are accelerating their digital transformation and adopting hybrid work models.

The Co-founder of CyberDome, Eyal Titinger, emphasised the significance of this development, stating, “This is more than just a technical integration. It is a bold step forward for innovation and growth in West Africa.

We are empowering businesses to pursue their goals without the fear of cyber threats, and helping the region’s enterprises compete on a global stage.”

It noted that the solution will address the challenges faced by various sectors, including financial institutions, telecom operators, government agencies, and infrastructure providers.
