London Wins ‘Producer Of The Year’ For Rema’s ‘Ozeba’ Hit


Nigerian music producer, Michael Ovie Hunter, popularly known as London, has clinched the ‘Producer of the Year’ award at the Headies 2025 for his work on Rema’s hit single “Ozeba.”

This category honours the individual or team responsible for producing the most acclaimed song or album during the year under review.

The the 17th Headies Awards held at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Sunday night through early Monday morning.

London triumphed over a competitive field of nominees, including Sarz for “Happiness”, Magicsticks for “Basquiat”, Rema/Producer X/Cubeatz/Deatz/Klimperboy for “Hehehe”, and Dibs for “Different Pattern”.

The award was presented by renowned dancer and BBNaijai reality TV star Liquorose, adding a touch of glamour to the ceremony.

The Headies Awards, known for celebrating excellence in the Nigerian music industry, returned to Nigeria this year after two consecutive editions in Atlanta, Georgia. The 2025 ceremony featured 31 categories, including ‘Artiste of the Year,’ ‘Song of the Year,’ and ‘Next Rated,’ highlighting the diversity and talent within the industry.
