Wemabod partners firms to develop Lagos projects


Wemabod Limited, a real estate developer and a subsidiary of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, is collaborating with two companies in furtherance of its determination to provide Nigerians access to world-class amenities.

According a statement, the partnership would see Wemabod Limited, El Salem Nigeria Limited, and Trans Fortress Global Resources develop two projects in Lagos: a luxury residential development in Ikoyi and a dynamic commercial hub in Ikeja.

It stated, “According to the companies, the residential project, located at 18C Lugard Avenue, Ikoyi, will set a new standard for upscale living in the city. The development promises to offer residents unparalleled luxury, sophistication, and access to world-class amenities.

“Similarly, the joint venture will revitalise Awolowo House, Ikeja, transforming it into a modern and efficient commercial hub. The project will cater for the evolving needs of businesses in Lagos with cutting-edge infrastructure and a focus on sustainability.”

Speaking on the significance of the partnership, the chairman of the board of directors, Wemabod, Nureni Adisa, said the joint venture represents a major milestone in the company’s commitment to delivering innovative, high-impact projects that elevate the standard of urban development in Nigeria.

According to Adisa, partnering with El Salem Nigeria Limited and Trans Fortress Global Resources allows the companies to combine strengths and resources to achieve remarkable results.

Also speaking at the event, the chairman of the Finance and Project Committee, who represents Lagos State on the Board, Kehinde Akinola, said the projects will create several opportunities and enhance lives.

“This partnership aligns with Lagos State’s vision for sustainable and inclusive development,” Akinola said.

The statement further read, “The partnership brings together expertise and shared values, emphasising sustainability, quality, and innovation. The residential development at 18C Lugard Avenue, Ikoyi, will set new standards for luxury living. In contrast, the commercial development at Awolowo House, Ikeja, will cater for modern business needs with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
