National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has finally shamed critics who wanted to truncate the 2025 Hajj Pilgrimage by their series of negative unsubstantiated reports that the Commission has failed to sign deals with major stakeholders something they alleged might have crippled the Hajj operations.
To this end, the Commission has taken a major step toward ensuring a smooth 2025 Hajj experience by securing 26,287 spaces for Nigerian pilgrims in Mashair.
Additionally, another 26,000 spaces have been reserved, pending final remittances, which are expected to be completed by February 13, 2025 In a statement signed by Assistant Director Information and Publication of the Commission, Fatima Sanda Usara said this brings the total allocation to 52,000, matching the number of intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj.
