LAPO Bank rewards savers with N1.5m


LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited has unveiled a raffle draw for the Xpress Savings Promo Season III, offering over N1.5m and 50 prizes of N50,000 to promote a savings culture.

The raffle draw is  scheduled to take place on January 31, 2025.

The LAPO Xpress Savings Promo Season III, which ran from October 1 to December 31, 2024, invited both existing and new customers to participate by saving a minimum of N20,000 monthly for three consecutive months or accumulating a total of N60,000 in their LAPO Xpress Savings accounts during the promo period.

This initiative is part of LAPO MfB’s ongoing efforts to foster a culture of savings and promote financial stability, especially in light of economic challenges impacting many households.

“The bank aims to encourage Nigerians to adopt better savings habits and utilise digital banking solutions for a more seamless financial experience,” the statement said.

The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at LAPO Microfinance Bank, Oluremi Akande, emphasised the impact of the LAPO Xpress Savings Promo in driving customer engagement and enhancing brand visibility.

“The LAPO Xpress Savings Promo has proven to be an effective tool in boosting savings and promoting financial inclusion,” Akande said.

“With Season III, we hope to inspire more Nigerians to embrace savings while benefiting from the convenience and efficiency of our digital banking solutions,” he added.

“The Raffle Draw for Season III promises to celebrate and reward customer loyalty, further solidifying LAPO MfB’s commitment to supporting the financial well-being of its customers across Nigeria’s 34 states,” the statement said.
