Singer 2face, Annie Opt For Divorce After Months Of Separation

One of Nigeria’s celebrated and award-winning talented singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface, has announced he has filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Annie Idibia-Macaulay.

The musician who released his last single, ‘Kuku Google Am’, in November last year, took to the social media on Sunday to disclose that he and Annie, whom he shares two lovely girls with, have been separated for a while and recently filed for divorce.

TuBaba wrote: “Hello to my beautiful people of all FEDERATIONS.

“WELL THIS THING I HAVE TO SAY IS SHORT BUT ALSO LONG…. I AND ANNIE MACAULAY HAVE BEEN SEPARATED FOR A WHILE NOW. AND CURRENTLY FILED DIVORCE… I WOULD GRANT A PRESS RELEASE SOON TO SAY MY STORY..NOT BECAUSE IT IS ANYONE’S RIGHT TO KNOW ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE; BUT BECAUSE I LOVE MY PEOPLE AND I NEED THEM TO KNOW MY INNOCENCE OR OFFENSE. STAY BLESSED MY PEOPLE. I LOVE YOU ALL”.

TuBaba would later make a video less than an hour after the initial post to confirm the news of divorce, affirming that his social media account wasn’t hacked, adding he meant what he posted.

The marriage of TuBaba to Annie Macaulay indeed may have hit the rocks since different posts and disclosures of Annie stating she was unhappy the way her husband maintained his relationships with his other ‘Baby Mama’, Pero Adeniyi. She posted on social media about a year and som months ago of the involvement of a third party in her marriage as she was fast losing her grip of the man she once loved, Tuface Idibia, who made waves with ‘African Queen’ hit more than a decade ago.
