2Baba’s Ex-manager Confirms Singer’s Arrest In London

A former manager of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the singer was indeed arrested in London following a heated altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.

2Face had travelled to the United Kingdom with his new wife for a concert tour but failed to appear at a scheduled show on October 2, 2025, fueling rumours that he had been detained after a dispute at the airport.

Natasha, who is also a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly, was said to have confronted the singer moments after their arrival.

Kaka, who is also the son of late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe, validated the reports during an Instagram Live session with Daddy Freeze on Monday evening.

He said, “Everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true,” adding that he was on the same flight and part of the London team.

Narrating the incident, Kaka explained that Natasha became upset when she felt 2Baba abandoned her upon landing and walked off with fans who whisked him into a shop.

Realising that she had been left behind, the “African Queen” star reportedly ran back to her, prompting a heated exchange that led to his arrest and handcuffing.

A video of the arrest, posted by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has since reignited public debate over the incident.
